  Visits the Olivas Adobe
to Earn Merit Badge

On Saturday, October 28, 2007, Boy Scout Troop 261 of Oxnard, made a 25-mile historical bike ride.

In order to earn this cycling merit patch, the boys had to bicycle to four historical locations. From Oxnard, their first destination was the San Buenaventura Mission. The second site was the Albinger Museum. The third location was the Olivas Adobe. And the final stop, back in Oxnard, was the McGrath mansion.

The boys on the ride, along with Scout Master Tom Foster, were Del Jason Pette, Logan Sweet, David Darley, Gregory Cannon and Tim Hardison.
